Origin & mission
Deloitte launched CORE in 2013 as part of its White House Joining Forces commitment to double veteran hiring. Rather than simply recruiting veterans, Deloitte went further: building a 2.5-day immersive program at Deloitte University to help veterans understand their own identity, purpose, and leadership strengths in civilian terms. The program does not guarantee a job at Deloitte — it is deliberately designed as a discovery experience for veterans at any stage of transition.
