Origin & mission
Joe Musselman founded THF in 2014 after witnessing a Command Master Chief — 26 years of service, six Bronze Stars with valor, a Silver Star — sitting across from him the day after his retirement ceremony saying "What's next?" with tears in his eyes. Musselman became obsessed with improving SOF transition and built THF with support from the Navy SEAL Foundation and UCSD's Rady School. The mission: ensure purpose and honor are just as available out of uniform as in.
