Founded in 2003 by the family of General George Patton — one of the most active volunteer-driven veteran support organizations in the country. Programs span care packages for deployed service members, monthly food distributions serving food-insecure veterans in six cities (averaging 75 lbs. of groceries per veteran), Women of Valor (support for female caregivers of post-9/11 wounded veterans), Baby Brigade (virtual baby showers for families of deployed), and VA hospital volunteer support. One of the few nonprofits with a voting seat on the VA's National Advisory Council and approved to work within VA Medical Centers. Charity Navigator 4-star, Candid Platinum seal, 96% efficiency rating.
