Congressionally chartered veterans service organization providing advocacy, claims representation, and community support for Black veterans and their families, with a focus on those historically underserved by the benefits system. Maintains VA-accredited service officers who prepare and present claims at no charge, works on discharge upgrade cases including those affected by racially disparate discipline, and advocates on disparities in disability rating outcomes. Also runs youth mentoring and community reintegration programming through local chapters.
