Elks National Veterans Service Commission (ENVSC)

Founded in 1946 immediately after World War II, the ENVSC is the veterans service arm of the Benevolent and Protective Order of Elks — a 501(c)(3) operating through a grant from the Elks National Foundation. Programs include Voluntary Service in 350+ VA Medical Centers and veterans facilities monthly, the Veterans Leather Program (wheelchair gloves and therapy kits), Freedom Grants to Elks Lodges for direct veteran community service, adaptive sports, art and music programs, and the Welcome Home initiative for veterans experiencing homelessness. More than 600 Elks serve as VA Voluntary Service Representatives.
