National Coalition for Homeless Veterans (NCHV)

Rather than housing veterans directly, NCHV supports the local organizations that do — through training, capacity-building, and grant-management help — and is the leading policy voice on veteran homelessness before Congress and federal agencies. Operates a help line for providers and homeless veterans seeking local resources. Individual veterans in crisis are typically routed to a local member organization or the VA's homeless programs.
