International charity founded in 2014 by Prince Harry, The Duke of Sussex, focused on the recovery and rehabilitation of wounded, injured, and sick service personnel and veterans through adaptive sport. Stages the Invictus Games, a multi-sport competition that has grown to draw over 500 competitors from around 25 nations, and runs the We Are Invictus digital community platform connecting the international wounded-warrior community between Games for sports, esports, and adventurous challenges. Team U.S. participation is coordinated domestically, and U.S. adaptive-sports organizations such as Move United provide preparation, training, and post-Games support for American competitors. The next Games will be held in Birmingham, UK, July 10-17, 2027, featuring nine core sports plus new additions including esports, pickleball, and laser run. A recovery pathway rather than a direct U.S. service provider — included as the international capstone of the adaptive-sports lane.
